Vierny Partners is an Independent Asset Manager founded in Geneva in 2009 by the two current managing partners and has a total of three employees.
This small EAM does not own any product and outsources several technical tasks in order to focus fully on its customers and offering them the best possible advice while meeting FinSA criteria. Vierny Partners offers a solid and objective approach with trustable partners and know how to adapt to each customer, whether they are first or second generation. This allows Vierny Partners to forge long-term relationships with a select number of clients, built on mutual loyalty and trust.

Challenges
Centralizing all data in a single powerful platform
Vierny Partners first installed a Portfolio Management System in 2011, only two years after its foundation.
The objective was to rely on technology to be able to focus on personal productivity.
The first PMS did not meet the expectations on the long-term and the challenge of finding a new solution arose, with the goal of having a tool that could bring more precise statements and online access while being able to aggregate wealth for customers with several depositary banks. The idea was to centralize all data in a single platform to have a precise overview and thus help the customers in their decision makin
Solution
A solid and resilient partner for a smooth transition
Vierny Partners started looking for a new solution in 2017 knowing what to look for in a PMS: a solid and resilient partner offering a solution able to evolve according to their needs and to the legal environments.
WIZE by TeamWork met the criteria with a fitted solution and an international presence and was rapidly short-listed to finally be chosen as the new PMS. Vierny Partners was an established PMS user and had realistic expectations which eased the onboarding process on both sides.
They were already used to working on a PMS and were aware of the implications of migrating on a new platform, which allowed a smooth transition.
All in all, WIZE met the expectations and Vierny Partners plans on using more and more of its functionalities over time.
Results and Benefits
Efficient, user-friendly and web-based
On their day-to-day activities, the implementation of WIZE allowed Vierny Partners to import data more efficiently. Moreover, the tool is user-friendly and web-based and thus easy to access and allowing paperless operations.
The most used functionalities are order generation for banks and the reports generated with the PMS that are complementary to the statements from depositary banks. An advantage in using WIZE is that a high number of clients have accepted to have a direct access to the platform, which means that they can access their data directly and have visibility on their assets and on the actions led by the bank and by Vierny Partners. This allows transparency between stakeholders and second-generation clients are particularly fond of having their data at hand.
Another advantage brought by WIZE is the compliance aspect; the PMS allows to be more disciplined as there is the possibility of configuring auditing requests directly in the tool without giving direct access.
Perspectives
WIZE, the right choice for digitization
As an established user and third-party manager with three employees that is satisfied with its choice, Vierny Partners is convinced that they made the right choice, and they can only recommend using this solution.
The expectations Vierny Partners had are aligned with the system. The change perceived by the clients is direct access to the platform with high-quality statements, which gives them instant visibility but at the same time can mean a change of habits for some.
The next digitization steps are to keep using more WIZE functionalities and, in a broader aspect, to digitize towards standard solutions in customer relationship and sharing information online with a visibility on the web.
