GVA Associés is a Swiss wealth management company founded in 2012 by two Partners. 

Its core business is discretionary management with a deep knowledge and experience rooted within the team. The company pays high attention to service and offers a true dedication to its customers to meet the needs of each individual with a tailored proposition

Its strength lies in the capacity of integrating a large number of banks and GVA Associés takes pride in its traditional portfolio of funds combined with untraditional investments in new industries and new technologies, merging tradition and modernity to adopt a new approach to investment.

Challenges 

A technology solution for tight recors of all processes

Following the new regulations imposed by FinSA / FinIA, there was a growing need for GVA Associés of documenting processes in order to be audited and approved by the FINMA as an authorized wealth management company. 

The real objective for GVA Associés was thus to be able to keep a tight record of all processes through a technology solution. The goal was hence to find a tool capable of combining PMS technology with CRM functionalities in order to document and centralize all data on a single platform. In parallel, there was a wish to alleviate manual administrative workloads through digitalization.

Solution

 Deep understanding and experience in wealth management's needs

GVA Associés was looking for a solution to meet the above needs and that could be implemented quickly. WIZE by TeamWork was thus selected because of the maturity of its platform and its deep expertise as opposed to other suppliers

Indeed, it has an international angle specific to Switzerland and the fact that WIZE is developed locally helps in this understanding. The relation between the two parties is more based on partnership than client-supplier. Before the implementation, there was a thorough preparation from GVA Associés which eased the process making it one of the fastest WIZE has ever done.

Results and Benefits

Considerable time and productivity gains

The team at GVA Associés now uses WIZE daily; portfolio managers are happy about the solution which reflects a true bank know-how and simplifies transactions and orders. 

Overall, there is a considerable time and productivity gain. GVA Associés’ needs in terms of administration will not be growing and can handle a 50% increase of clients without needing to increase administration staff. Moreover, reconciliation time has been reduced by 75% and consolidated reports can now be generated automatically from the platform. 

The administrative charge related to FINMA regulations could have been an increase of human tasks but instead becomes a technological task, reducing manual processes and allowing to save a significant amount of time.

Perspectives 

An ideal long term partnership 

For both GVA Associés and WIZE, the project is a success. 

The collaboration is ideal between the two parties which is why they have an objective of further developing the solution with two main operations in mind: a complete CRM integration for a daily use for sales and relationship managers and FIX connectivity for trading instructions Straight Through Processing.
